What is Website
Hosting?
Website hosting is the act of storing websites on state-of-the-art computer
systems (called servers). These servers allow anyone on the Internet to
view your website.

Introduction: We realise there are thousands of hosting companies which
you could choose. However, we believe our hosting services provide the
best combination of pricing versus features. You can always pay more and
you can always pay less, but you'll never get better service than we offer.
Bandwidth: The type of T-line bandwidth a company uses directly affects
whether or not a potential customer gets connected to your site or gets
a "busy signal." The higher bandwidths offered with T-3 lines
are the standard for superior hosting companies. We provide T-3 line connection
with multiple backups which provides a 99% uptime.
Security: Your website needs security. For websites selling products directly online, an SSL secure server is absolutely necessary. Plus, we'll also advise you how to provide additional security for database sites.
Tracking & Monitoring: Tracking and monitoring software is available on all of our servers. This software allows you to see exactly how your customers found your website. Additionally, a hit counter tracks all hits to your homepage.
Website Maintenance
Once a website is developed and hosted, more times than not, they require
maintenance. This can be anything from updating product or pricing, to
improving or expanding the site. Maintenance for websites can get expensive.
When extensive expansion is needed, we can update your site at our hourly rate. Presently, our hourly rate for updates is only R125 per hour.
About our Servers
We use Unix and Windows NT IBM Netfinity servers backed by a full staff
of support and technical personnel. All servers are fed by multiple T-3
bandwidth lines and are high-speed servers with digital circuits. This
technology allows for tens of thousands of customers to have simultaneous
access to websites on these servers. Many "budget" servers are
typically supported by one, or only a fraction of one, T-1 line.
